The internet is a magical, beautiful place. Let’s peruse her together. Shall we?

I still can’t get enough Lizzo. Seriously. She landed the December cover of British Vogue (vogue.co.uk) and she’s nominated for 8 Grammy’s. Her success is important to me. Momentous, really. Here’s a good article about why her Grammy (stylist.co.uk) noms matter so much.

Did you see Mario Dedivanovic’s acceptance speech for the Artistic Achievement Award at the American Influencer Awards? Holy Moly. So much raw emotion. He seems like a beautiful, brave soul. Makes me sad that he lived so much of his life unable to express who he is as a person, but I am so happy that he feels free now.

I’ve got Mr. Rogers on the brain a lot these days. It all started with this wonderful piece, ‘What Would Mr. Rogers Do‘ in the Atlantic by the original journalist that the new Tom Hanks movie about Mr. Rogers is based upon. I can’t stop thinking about Mr. Rogers’ unerring insistence upon kindness and love, something that I have so much more room to practice in my heart and life. Then, I read this wonderful piece in the New York Times about Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers. That was so touching. This Mr. Rogers chapter of my life culminated in seeing Won’t You Be My Neighbor this weekend with Keith. Wow, what a wonderful time in my life. I have a lot to learn from the example of Mr. Rogers. I think we all do.

Okay, wow. If you haven’t already, please watch the Free Meek documentary on Amazon Prime. It was incredible. Wonderful storytelling, beautifully shot and a story of the justice system that we all need to better understand. My heart goes out to Meek Mill and countless others like him who have had been deeply traumatized and hurt by the obviously broken system of justice we have in place in this country. The problem isn’t only mass incarceration but also the probation and parole system and the way it strips people of their agency and their humanity. I received an important education through this series. I just signed up to learn more about the Reform charity Meek founded to address justice reform.

What about you, friends? Do you have any #internetismagic stories or links to share?
